I want to let you know about the 1000 Mile Bike Ride for Village of Hope Clinic by Pastor Frank Wagner, pastor at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Juno Beach, Florida for 17 years. Please keep Pastor Frank and the congregations he will visit along his way from Juno Beach, FL to Fairfax, VA in your prayers.
All are invited to welcome him when he arrives at his final destination at
Lord of Life Church on Thursday, May 12th at 7:30 pm.

Why is he doing this?
"Recently God has blessed me in some unique ways, and I am a firm believer that we are blessed by God to be a blessing to others.
· God has blessed me with a deep concern for the poor, hungry and sick in Haiti.
· God has blessed me by connecting me to the wonderful ministry of the Village of Hope school in Haiti.
· God has blessed me by challenging me to play a role in building a health center at the Village of Hope school.
· God has blessed me with the ability to ride my bicycle long distances and share the story of the Village of Hope school and health center.
· God has blessed me with a wonderful congregation that is allowing me to be away for two weeks ( May 1 – May 13, 2011) to ride my bicycle from south Florida to Washington D.C. to raise awareness and funds for the health center at the Village of Hope school.
· God blessed me in September of 2010 when I rode my bicycle from Boca Raton, Florida to Tallahassee, Florida (500 miles) to share the story of the Village of Hope health center with 10 congregations and we were able to raise $60,000 to build the health care center.
